The attitude of we shall overcome made popular during the era of desegregation and integration in the 1960s and 70s was preceded by an attitude of we shall succeed held dearly in the hearts of Buffalo Soldiers. We shall overcome was a reaction to extreme oppression. We shall succeed is an attitude that states that we are as good and every other human being. The Buffalo Soldiers is a Faith-Based movement. It is not a religion but an outward expression and application of an inner spiritual walk. Our attitude is that our reach shall always exceed our grasp and in faith, we succeed even when we fall short. Pride, dignity, integrity, and faith in that which is greater than ourselves serve as the core motivation of our revisiting and resurrecting the order of Buffalo Soldiers. Two Fundamental Missions1). No Veteran In Need: The spirit of the veteran soldier within the Buffalo Soldier is exemplified within its mission to assist in addressing the growing needs of today’s veterans regardless of ethnicity. Though the Buffalo Soldier was based on ethnicity, this is transcendent by the attitude and spirit of the veteran to "Leave No One Behind. The needs of today's veterans are multicultural, multiethnic issues that form the core Mission of the Resurrected Order of Buffalo Soldiers to LEAVE NO VETERAN IN NEED. This mission is carried out by participating with activities of veteran groups and assisting with efforts to address the needs. 2). All Youth Up To Speed: The convergence between humanity and technology places a continual burden on our youth to remain up to speed in their learning and development. Be it computers, tablets or whatever may be needed, the Mission of the Resurrected Order of Buffalo Soldiers is to make sure that ALL YOUTH ARE UP TO SPEED. This mission is carried out by participating and cooperating with school principles, churches and youth groups in identifying and assisting in efforts to bring all youth up to speed.
